WEBSITE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT

Website design and development is a complex process that requires a great deal of planning and creativity. This includes everything from designing the layout and look of the website to the functionality and content. Our designer presented two design ideas to NHNSA and one was selected. The web developer is responsible for coding the website, ensuring that it is responsive and secure. The designer is responsible for creating a visually appealing site with a consistent look and feel. The content writer is responsible for crafting engaging and informative content for the website. Finally, the search engine optimization specialist is responsible for optimizing the website for higher rankings in search engine results. All of these pieces must come together in a cohesive manner to create a website that meets the needs of the client.

As part of our ongoing relationship with the Nursing Homes of Nova Scotia Association (NHNSA), our services are retained, and provide weekly website maintenance services to keep their website up-to-date, secure, and running smoothly. We make sure the website is always functioning properly and is updated with the latest content, including new photos, videos, and other multimedia. We also ensure the website is secure from malicious attacks, as well as making sure any existing security issues are addressed. In addition, we make sure the website is optimized for mobile devices, helping to ensure that all NHNSA members can access the website regardless of device or location. Furthermore, we keep an eye out for any potential problems with the website and address them before they become issues for NHNSA members. We understand the importance of having a secure and up-to-date website for our clients, and we take great pride in providing this service.

SOCIAL MEDIA AD DESIGN

As part of NHNSA’s retained contract, regular ad design is included. This includes designing and conceptualizing creative solutions that are tailored to the specific needs of the client.  The ad design process allows the client to customize the look and feel of their campaign to make sure it resonates with their target audience. It also ensures that the client’s message is communicated effectively and in a way that is consistent with their brand.

EVENT PLANNING

Event planning and marketing and communications go hand in hand. The success of any event relies on effective planning and good communication to ensure the goals of the event are met. This includes creating a promotional plan, developing a marketing strategy, setting up a marketing budget, and creating a communication plan to ensure the event is promoted properly. Additionally, event planners must also arrange for media coverage, create a press release, and arrange for public relations and social media outreach to help spread awareness of the event. Event planners must also be aware of any relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations that may affect the event. By combining effective planning and marketing and communications, event planners are able to create successful events that are memorable and enjoyable for everyone involved. NHNSA events include:

NHNSA Annual Conference

On October 26, 2023, the sector came together for an uplifting day of education and celebration at our Re-Imagining LTC Conference. The slate of speakers and presentations inspired and challenged us to be bold transformational leaders, to believe in ourselves and the
possibilities, to affect change, to lead with character and thought in these turbulent times, to share best practices, to learn from each other,
recognize the initiatives and great innovations right here at home in Nova Scotia and across Canada and to prepare for the future of long term care.
